Ausgrid invites companies capable of completing oil containment upgrade works at 44 Ausgrid substations to submit tenders in accordance with these RFT documents. The 44 sites that are the subject of this tender are listed below and located in 3 regions: Sydney metropolitan region, Newcastle and Central Coast regions and Hunter and Port Stephens regions.
The general scope of work includes civil works to achieve the repair, refurbishment and upgrade of the oil containment systems at each of the 44 substation sites. The works typically include relining and patching of the oil containment pipes; modifying and rebuilding oil pits and flame traps and installing tank ladders, step irons, vents, signage, cover clamps, valves and spindle extensions. The scope of the work for this Request for Tenders is more fully detailed in the Part A Specification and associated drawings.
Respondents must meet the following mandatory criteria:
* Price against all substation sites in each one, more or all Phase / Group;
* Attendance at the pre-tender meetings
* Tender submitted on time
* Quality, safety and environmental systems certified to nominated standards
* Extensive experience in the delivery of high risk works in and around substations.
Photos of the sites will be issued at the pre-tender meetings.
