Tender Description
The Regional and Metropolitan Railway Car Park Project (Project) responds to the Victorian Government's pre-election policy; Project 10,000, to deliver new car parking spaces. It also supports VicTrack's proposal to strengthen Victoria's ability to enable economic and population growth by meeting growing public transport needs by:
* Increasing access to park and ride opportunities
* Reducing road congestion by enabling public transport use for part of the journey
* Providing more free car parks at more locations on regional and metropolitan train network.
This Project aims to improve and deliver additional car parks across 6 regional and 9 metropolitan stations; which are bundled into 4 Delivery Packages as follows:
Delivery Package 1 (Metropolitan Sites: South East)
* Ferntree Gully, Hallam, Berwick & Officer
Delivery Package 2 (Metropolitan Sites: North and North-West)
* Upfield, Regent, Keilor Plains & Williams Landing
Delivery Package 3 (Regional Sites: North and North West)
* Castlemaine, Kyneton, Kilmore East, Wallan & Gisborne
Delivery Package 4 (Metropolitan and Regional Sites: West and South-West)
* Deer Park & Melton
This Request for Tender will establish sourcing arrangements to Design and Construct car parks across 15 railway stations in Victoria; where contracts will be awarded by Delivery Package.
Tenderers are invited to submit a bid for any or all of these Delivery Packages.
