Expression of Interest - Network Transformation Project

⁠⁠⁠VicTrack invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) as part of an anticipated multi stage tender process. Responses will be evaluated to identify qualified and capable organisations for the supply of carrier grade telecommunication equipment (IPMPLS and Optical Networking) and associated services as part of VicTrack's Network Transformation Project (NTP).

Recently, VicTrack commissioned a strategic review of its telecommunications business. The review identified that in order to strategically reposition and transform VicTrack's telecommunications business and lift overall service delivery, a significant investment is required to develop an integrated transport telecommunications network (the NTP).

This EOI presents an opportunity to be a long term partner for VicTrack in its capacity as a state leader for delivery of critical transport telecommunications infrastructure, and to be an integral part of VicTrack's NTP.

The scope of this EOI includes two components:
1. IPMPLS equipment and integrator services; and
2. Optical networking device and associated services.

This project will be conducted into three phases:
Phase 1: Procurement, development of detailed design and testing of IPMPLS and Optical Networking equipment
Phase 2: Following successful testing and board and funding approvals, deployment of equipment IPMPLS and Optical Networking equipment
Phase 3: Service delivery and support

Suitable respondents may be invited to progress to a Request for Tender (RFT) stage. On completion of the RFT, and subject to board and funding approvals, the successful RFT respondent(s) will be appointed to deliver the equipment and services for testing and deployment within VicTrack's telecommunications network.
