Tender Description
The Frankston Arts Centre Precinct is a major public building that is 20 years old and whilst having many great attributes in continuing to deliver excellent service, requires a level of refurbishment, adjustment and technical upgrade.
Frankston Arts Centre Precinct Upgrade & Refurbishment Works – Amenities & Lift, as detailed in the Tender Drawings & Technical Specifications includes:
1. Refurbishment of existing amenities at the following areas:
a) Frankston Arts Centre Function Centre Amenities;
b) Frankston Arts Centre Theatre Amenities;
c) Frankston Arts Centre Backstage Amenities;
d) Frankston Library Public Amenities;
e) Frankston Library Staff Amenities;
f) Frankston Library Community Room Amenity;
g) Frankston Youth Centre Amenity;
h) Cube37 Public Amenities; and
i) Cube37 Backstage Amenities.
2. Supply and Installation of a New Theatre Mezzanine Lift at Frankston Arts Centre. The lift work also includes demolition of existing wall structures, construction of lift lower foyer, lift foyer, lift roof, and lift motor room.
It is a mandatory requirement of this contract that the Contractor be suitably licensed (Commercial Builder).
