Tender Description
Tenders are invited for Construction of new bridge over Stony Creek at Shands Road, Main Ridge. The proposed bridge works will include;
* Demolition and removal of the existing bridge including bridge deck, substructure and abutments.
* Construction of a new bridge structure including concrete piles, concrete abutments, steel substructure, concrete decking slab with asphalt overlay, concrete approach slabs, steel barriers & guardrail, widening of the approaches to match the existing road width, appropriate signage and line-marking and creek bed and embankment treatments to prevent and control erosion
These works are programmed for construction from August to December 2016.
