Phillip Island Nature Parks (The Nature Parks) is seeking Principal Architects with appropriate experience and qualifications to work with the Nature Parks on the design of the new Penguin Parade Visitor Centre Design Development Project.
In 2012 the Nature Parks completed a Summerland Peninsula Infrastructure & Procurement Master Plan. A major focus of the Master Plan was a new Penguin Parade Visitor Centre and associated car parking. The Nature Parks are now seeking Principal Architects with appropriate experience and qualifications to bring this Master Plan to realisation.
It is anticipated that a minimum of three companies will be shortlisted from the Expression of Interest phase based on their capacity, capability and experience. Shortlisted companies will then be given the opportunity to submit a formal Request for Tender.
The Expression of Interest will need to clearly demonstrate that the Principal Architect have the necessary capacity, capability and experience in this type of Project. The Principal Architect and sub consultants will need to have a background in but not limited to:
* Design of large world class tourism facilities;
* Working as the Principal Consultant
* Managing a large sub-consultant team
* Working in regional Victoria
* Designing / Building within coastal environments
* Designing / Building within sensitive areas (both culturally and environmentally)
* Consultation and communication with stakeholder groups;
* Working within tight timelines
The Nature Parks invites suitable Principal Consultants (Architects) to submit an Expression of Interest for the Works as described in this Expression of Interest and on the terms of this Expression of Interest.
