Internal Audit Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking the services of an Internal Auditor.

The purpose of this Contract is to provide assistance to the Council and Executive Management of Council in assessing the effectiveness and accountability of existing management and operational control practices and mechanisms in relation to effectiveness, efficiency, governance and risk management.

Internal audit is an independent service function that contributes to Council's corporate objective and the ethical achievement of good governance.

The internal audit function is designed to assist the Council and Executive to fulfil their governance and oversight responsibilities in relation to management reporting, internal control structure, risk management systems, legislative compliance, and ethical accountability.

The Contract is for a three (3) year period from 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2019.
