The Department of Education and Training (Organisation) is responsible for providing services to children and young people both directly through government schools and indirectly through regulation and funding of early childhood services and non-government schools. The Department of Education and Training provides daily transport assistance to more than 8,500 students attending specialist schools throughout Victoria. The transport of students is viewed as a collaborative arrangement between families, service providers and the Organisation.

The Organisation is seeking responses to this Invitation to Supply DET-STU-2015-16 for the provision of 13 school bus services to 11 specialist schools as outlined in Part A.2 - Specifications. Each bus service represents a separate contract. A separate response will be required to be submitted for each service tendered. The tenure of the contracts will run from 3 October 2016 to 30 June 2021.
