Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Under existing conditions the section of Macpherson Street between Boondah Road and Warriewood Road is a two-way two lane road.

This section of the road is frequently overtopped by floodwaters due to its low lying profile. In the future, traffic volumes are expected to increase along Macpherson Street and Council seeks to upgrade the road to ensure that it can function as a Flood Evacuation Route for up to the 100 year ARI flood.

In addition, the proposed road upgrades are also intended to improve both road user safety and traffic capacity.
