Tender Description
The City of Canning (the City) is seeking experienced and qualified Contractor(s) to relocate existing Fibre Optic Communications (FOC) and Signalling cables.
Category A:
The FOC cables connect Carlisle and Cannington Stations, and Cannington and Welshpool Stations. A new containment conduit will be run approximately eight (8) metres from the existing 100mm PVC conduit containment, on the south side. The City will construct pits over the existing containment to facilitate the relocation process.
Category B:
As a component of the City's upgrade of Sevenoaks Street between the Leach Highway Overpass and Wharf Street in Cannington, including the railway forecourts and Queens Street car parks, signalling cables need to be relocated.
These signalling cables are located between Location Case A90 and Location Case A95. The City will construct pits over the existing containment at these Location Cases and install two (2) new 100mm PVC conduits and pits opposite Location Case A90 and Location Case A92, to facilitate the relocation process.
