Modernisation of Passenger Lift - Welsford Street Civic Centre

⁠⁠⁠Council is calling for tenders to address the Council Welsford Street Office lift to provide a major overhaul replacement of key components, or renew the lift in its entirety. Tenderers will provide a fully costed solution that includes delivering of the work.

Tenderers can recommend more than one option but options must be itemised and include service outcomes and a whole of life cost for the ongoing maintenance and management of the lift unit after installation. Outcomes must be fully compliant with all relevant Acts and Legislation pertaining to lift services within public buildings.

It is expected that the works will include but not be restricted to modernisation of the Motor Room, Lift Car and Lift Well or the full replacement of the lift if more cost effective to do so.

Potential tenderers will be required to undertake an onsite inspection of the existing lift in order to determine if an overhaul option will work, or to ensure any recommended new replacement will be appropriate for the site.
