The Workers Compensation Nominal Insurer is seeking to establish a panel of suppliers to provide hearing aids and assistive listening devices to injured workers under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme. This request for tender is an open opportunity for any suitably experienced and qualified firms to prepare and lodge tenders for appointment to the panel. Tenderers appointed to the panel will supply hearing aids and assistive listening devices to hearing service providers as and when required.
The Nominal Insurer is seeking to achieve the following objectives through this RFT process:
* Better outcomes for the injured worker
* Significant cost improvements
* Improved transparency
* Better data collection and analysis to identify areas for improvement
* Active management of the approved providers of hearing aids, and
* Consistency across scheme agents.
