Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the upgrade of Florina Road to improve traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) safety in the general vicinity of the Florina Road Store. Upgrades include;
1. Pavement widening (shoulder restoration and sealing)
2. Replacement of existing culvert at creek crossing (by means of demolition and new installation)
3. Replacement and upgrade of guard fence (in accordance with applicable Austroads Guidelines and Standards)
The project will be as stipulated within the specifications supplied, shall be conducted under traffic i.e. detours are acceptable - traffic flow must not cease, and shall include those works itemised within the Request for Tender and accompanying Attachments.
Location:
Florina Road, Katherine. From approximately CH 5900 over a distance of some three (3) kilometres, between Helena Road and Quarry access Road.
Commencement of works is to be immediate post award, with completion on or before 24 June 2016.
