Tender Description
Ausgrid invites companies capable of completing building repair works at the Floss Street Hurlstone Park Distribution Substation S57 to submit tenders in accordance with these RFT documents.
Ausgrid is required to provide a safe and reliable electricity supply network and demonstrate environmental responsibility. Ausgrid needs to ensure that the zone substation infrastructure is reinstated to a reliable state to meet functional requirements.
The scope of the work for this Request for Tenders is more fully detailed in the Part A Specification.
A mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting will be held at site on 23 February 2016 at 10.00 am. All prospective Tenderers must attend this meeting.
A maximum of two representatives from each company can be accommodated and prospective respondents must register their intention to attend the pre-tender meeting by notifying Mr Geoff Crane by email to gcrane@ausgrid.com.au by 4.00 pm on 19 February 2016.
Attendees at the pre-tender meeting must be equipped with their own personal protection equipment adequate to meet Ausgrid Network Standards and Electrical Safety Rules for entry into a live substation. The mandatory personal protection equipment include wearing long sleeve shirts, long pants, safety footwear, high visibility vest, safety eyewear, safety helmet and gloves on person. Tenders are to be informed that long sleeve shirts and long pants or overalls must adhere to the Ausgrid arc rated clothing policy wherein the minimum arc rating is 4 calories/cm 2.
