Tender Description
Lihir Gold Limited (LGL), a fully owned subsidiary of Newcrest Mining Ltd, through this EOI, intends to invite suitably qualified contractors and consultants to submit proposals for the delivery of Business Development Services to support Lihirian start-up business ventures at its Lihir Gold Operation.
LGL defines Business Development under these 3 categories:
* Start-up support;
* Capability building and
* Pipeline development.
The purpose of this E0I is to determine if interested parties have the capability and experience in the development and implementation of Business Development Services in a similar environment. Interested parties may submit proposals for either the development of the model and/or delivery of the service.
From these submissions LGL will shortlist candidates to participate in LGL's Request for Proposal (RFP) process. A full scope of work will be made available only to those companies short listed by LGL and who are formally invited to bid on all or some of the services.
To be considered, interested parties are requested to respond to this EOI by no later than Friday, 12th February 2016. However, it is at LGL's absolute discretion as to whether any late EOI's will be accepted; and LGL may request clarification or additional information from any applicant during the EOI application process.

All expression of interest must be submitted by 1700 hours (local Lihir Island time (AEST)) on the 12th February 2016.
Interested parties to note:
* LGL accepts no liability whatsoever for an EOI and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire that are not received due to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors.
* LGL does not undertake to invite all applicants to participate in the RFP process.
* In the RFP process LGL will not bind itself to accept the lowest or any proposal submitted
* GLa will not be liable for any costs incurred in this EOI or preparing a proposal for this contact.
