Tender Description
Gippsland Ports invites expressions of interest from qualified tenderers for the supply and installation of a new floating Pontoon Jetty at McMillan Strait in Paynesville. Works will include removal of the existing pontoon fingers and piles. Refer to the attached Specification for details. (A Tender Submission form has been extracted and is provided as a separate item for convenience).
This contract includes provision of all labour, supervision and administration, the supply of all construction plant, temporary works and materials necessary to perform the works.
Below is a general definition of the scope of work under this contract and not a detailed listing of each element of work required. Refer to relevant sections of this Specification for details.
* Remove two existing pontoons and piles
* Supply and drive all pontoon mooring piles as required by the approved design details.
* Supply and drive 2 No. pen mooring piles.
* Supply, fabricate and install floating jetty.
* Supply, fabricate and install hinged ramp.
The boat moorings adjacent to the works are for the short term berthing of vessels and, as much as is practicable, their availability should be retained during the currency of the works. Gippsland Ports will organise to relocate vessels on a temporary basis should the vessel be at risk or access to the berth be restricted by construction plant or operations.
