The City of Greater Geelong (Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest from high quality, multi-disciplinary Design Teams (led by an architectural firm) interested in undertaking Design Services for the Armstrong Creek Neighbourhood Health & Community Centre.
The Armstrong Creek Neighbourhood Health & Community Centre will be a major community asset and compliment the school to be built on the adjoining site.
The facility will be developed as a Green Building Council of Australia 5 star certified design and as built facility.
The current total budget for construction and associated works which includes consultants' costs, contingencies, escalation and other costs associated with the development of the building and associated external areas is $15M - $22.5m.
Only suitably qualified respondents who have demonstrated experience in the design of:
(i) community buildings including public halls,
(ii) children's centres that include long day care
(iii) GBCA or One Planet design rated and as built facilities,
(iv) facilities with a construction value over $10M,
will be considered to provide the design services associated with the Armstrong Creek Neighbourhood Health and Community development.
The Expressions of Interest closes 2.00 pm on Wednesday, 10 February 2016. The Expression of Interest (EOI) process will be followed by a selective tender. Only those contractors who have been shortlisted through the EOI process will be invited to tender.
