Tender Description
Goulburn Murray Water requires the services of a Licensed ‘A’ Grade Electrical Contractor (Victorian and New South Wales Licensed), with strong industrial electrical expertise, at Mildura Weir & Lock and the Mildura Merbein Salt Interception Scheme to provide electrical services to support operations, maintenance and construction programs at these sites for the period February 2016 to February 2019.
Extensive electrical control and monitoring systems critical tothe operation and management of the weir, lock, and salt interception scheme are installed at these sites. The systems include motorcontrol, instrumentation, hydraulic control, PLC’s, SCADA control, transducers, pumps, compressors, valves, generator sets, and power and lighting distribution.
Only prospective contractors that can demonstrate an ability to provide ongoing suitably qualified and experienced staff within a one hour recall of Mildura Weir to promptly respond to day to day requests and urgent matters will be considered.
