EOI 25-2015 Provision of Tourism/Cultural/Sporting or Lifestyle Related Activity at St Ives Precinct.
The St Ives Showground and Precincts (SISGP) site is a much valued regional recreation facility for Ku-ring-gai and the wider northern Sydney region. It consists of the St Ives Showground, the Ku-ring gai Wildflower Garden and the Ku-ring-gai Nursery.
It offers both passive and active recreation with a range of activities including walking, cycling, equestrian events, dog training club and off-leash areas, model plane flying club, radio controlled car club, trapeze school, car and motor cycle safety training/eventing/racing, sports training and competitions, picnics, markets, playgrounds, environmental education, indoor and outdoor events, weddings, functions, visitor services, retail sales, Community Shed and the annual Agricultural and Horticultural Show, all within a bushland setting.
We seek Expressions of Interest from companies and individuals with ideas and capacity to improve the visitor experience but not compete with existing users/hirers or impact detrimentally on the protected environment.
Options may include but are not be limited to:
* Outdoor adventure activities such as High Ropes and Paint Ball
* Sporting activities such as archery, mini golf, gymnastics, martial arts
* Outdoor and indoor cinema/entertainment
* Retail activities including markets
* Restaurant, cafe, Function Centre and Gallery operations
* Camping, glamping and overnight accommodation
* Bushland experiential activities
