Expression of Interest - Provision of Land Suitable for Regional Motocross Facility

⁠⁠⁠G21 Geelong Region Alliance are conducting a Motocross Land Suitability Assessment. The purpose of this study is to identify potential sites for a regional level motocross facility in the G21 region. The G21 Geelong Region Alliance includes the following Local Government Areas of the City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire, Golden Plains Shire, Colac Otway Shire and Borough of Queenscliffe.

An expression of interest process is being conducted across the five participating Councils to identify any potential privately owned land within the G21 area that may be suitable for the provision of a regional based motorcycle facility. The site may be leased, purchased, bequeathed or gifted for use.

The City of Greater Geelong will facilitate the Expression of Interest process on behalf of the G21 Geelong Region Alliance.

Expressions of interest will need to include a completed Expression of Interest Schedule. The detail provided in the Schedule will allow assessment of your expression of interest against the following evaluation criteria:
* Site area (ha)
* Site located outside of constrained area (map included in the Expression of Interest Schedule)
* Closest residential property from site boundary
* Road access
* Water supply
* Electricity supply
* Distance from Geelong CBD
* Terrain: steep, undulating, treed, rocky outcrops and flat
* Preferred soil type: sandy top soil with clay subsurface
* Site Market Value (price) purchase/other OR
* Site Market Value (price) lease per hectare per year
