Tender Description
The purpose of this contract is for the provision of contract management services to assist in the delivery of the Civic Centre HVAC and office upgrade project. The scope of works includes:
* Replacement of HVAC System (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning);
* Compliance with the Building Code of Australia;
* Upgrade of office accommodation that meets current Disability Discrimination Act requirements, with some exemptions being sought based on a ‘cost-benefit analysis’;
* At least a 4 star GreenStar equivalent building performance;
* Incorporate maintenance programs into the scope of the project to create efficiencies;
* Ultimately, refurbished office accommodation that complies with Council’s new Office Accommodation Guidelines and contemporary industry practice; and
* The building is approximately 6,000m2 in area, of which approximately 4,600m2 is office space utilised by approximately 400 office staff.
