Provision of Roadside Weed and Pest Control Services
Invitation to Tender
Horsham Rural City Council is seeking experienced contractors to undertake a variety of weed and rabbit control tasks on selected roadsides within the municipality of Horsham in the Natimuk, Noradjuha, Jung, Drung, Wonwondah and Toolondo rural road areas.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Rabbit Control - mechanical (i.e. excavation of warrens), chemical and manual warren closure methods;
Weed Control - selective spot pray, boom spray and broad scale application.
This contract will be awarded for one 18 month term commencing 22nd December 2015.
Tenderers should note that extent of work under this contract is not guaranteed and that Council reserves the right to appoint one or several contractors to perform the services.
