Expressions of Interest Mobile Food Vendor/ Light Refreshments

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of interest are being sort for a mobile food vendor/ light refreshments provider to be located at Sealy Lookout, Orara East State Forest.

Sealy Lookout, Orara East State Forest, is home to the award winning Forest Sky Pier. The site, just 15 minutes from the Coffs Harbour city centre, is perched above Coffs Harbour and provides views up and down the coast. Associated with the lookout is a picnic area (planned redevelopment 2016), a network of walking tracks through the flora reserve and the smaller Korora Lookout. Last year, an estimated 130 000+ people visited the lookout including local residents, tourists and highway travellers looking for a rest stop. Visitation has been increasing around 20% per year since the Forest Sky Pier was opened in December 2011. Access is free of charge with gates opened and closed daily.

Forestry Corporation of NSW is seeking a mobile food vendor to locate at Sealy Lookout during opening (daylight) hours from late December 2015/January 2016 to April 2016 under a Forest Permit. Dependent on the experience, there exists the possibility of a longer term arrangement with the successful EOI candidate, beyond the period indicated. Water and power are not available onsite and waste removal must be provided. Certification as a Mobile Food vendor with Coffs Harbour City Council is required.

Council Permit - Section 68 Local Government Act application/registration Safe Operating Procedures / Safe Work Management System Public Liability Insurance $20 000 000 Ability to operate on weekends and during school holidays Fresh Coffee and light refreshments at a minimum
