Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠A non-mandatory site inspection and/or tender briefing is available to tenderers on Wednesday 18th November 2015 at 10.30AM. The tender briefing will provide tenderers the opportunity to clarify any tender enquiries they have in relation to the tender in person prior to the closing of the tender. Scope

The works comprise:

  • Demolition of the identified existing fitout walls, doors, workstations, some cabinetwork, some ceiling, floor coverings, building services.
  • Demolition of the U5 existing tea prep sinks.
  • Demolition of the U5 existing toilet including breakout and excavate existing slab.
  • Supply and install new flushed, wet area plasterboard ceiling tnew WC.
  • Cut and chase and trench as necessary for new waste plumbing.
  • Scabble and/ or prepare the existing floor surface as necessary and supply and lay: new carpet floor coverings as detailed, new inset entry mats as detailed, 
  • new ceramic floor tiles as detailed
  • Construct new toilets.
  • Supply and installation of above-ceiling acoustic insulation in specific areas.
  • Supply and install thermal insulation tUnit 5.
  • Supply and install new partition walls and doors fitout including above-ceiling insulation as identified
  • New painting
  • New glazing & graphic film
  • Supply and install new cabinet works
  • Supply and install new motorised roller shutter tthe front of unit 5.
  • Remove existing and supply and install new canopies tthe rear of units 5 & 6
  • Modify existing mechanical services air-conditioning and ventilation and;
  • Supply and install new mechanical services air-conditioning and ventilation.
  • Modify existing lighting and emergency systems and;

  • Supply and install new lighting and emergency systems.
  • Supply and install new waste and supply plumbing services.
  • Modify existing general powerinstallation and;
  • New fitout general power installation
  • Modify existing communications installation and;
  • New general communications cabling installation
  • Modify existing combined intruder detection, access control and fire detection installation and;
  • Supply and install additional extensions texisting combined intruder detection, access control and fire detection installation
  • All associated builders work, access, administration and amenity explicit or implicit in the project.
  • Install new furniture, whitegoods and associated items purchased directly by the Principal.
  • Attend on the installation of new workstations by others as purchased directly by the Principal.

The works shall include the provision of

All access equipment necessary texpedite the works

Any hoarding and/or barriers required to provide screening, protection and security tareas during the fitout work.

  • This shall be provided such that persons are not inconvenienced or put at risk by this new fitout work.
  • The hoarding and barriers shall be required tprevent materials from falling on members of the general public, the transmission of airborne contaminants, deny access tall unauthorised persons and minimise noise transmission.
  • The hoarding and barriers shall be solid, of satisfactory appearance and be able tbe relocated/ free standing, where necessary.

Finishes and materials are all tbe new unless otherwise directed. Construction techniques and methods are tbe of high workmanship and finish quality.
