Supply of Electricity and/or Green Power and/or Natural Gas

⁠⁠⁠Local Government Procurement (LGP) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the supply of electricity and/or Green Power and/or Natural Gas to participating New South Wales Customers.

LGP seeks to establish Master Agreements with one or more licensed energy retailer(s), that is, to establish a panel of approved retailers. The process will involve an Expression of Interest (EOI) to establish the panel of pre-approved energy retailers who will be offered the opportunity from time to time, to provide quotations for groups of councils requiring priced offers.

To become an approved retailer with LGP, the retailer will need to meet criteria assessed under this EOI and to enter into a Master Agreement with LGP. Once a Master Agreement is in place, councils will be able to place orders under this arrangement for the relevant energy services.

A contract will be formed between a council and retailer at the time an order is placed by a council with a retailer, and under that contract the retailer will be required to pay to LGP a management fee in accordance with the Master Agreement.

The terms of that Master Agreement contract will be as procured by LGP under this EOI and resultant quotation process.

c) Electricity: Small Tariff Sites
d) Green Power
e) Natural Gas: Buildings and Facilities
f) Natural Gas: Tariff Sites

This EOI provides an opportunity for additional parties to be appointed as approved panel members. (This process does not affect existing panel members and they do not need to lodge new EOI submission unless they are providing a specific requirement such as Electricity and wish to provide Natural Gas and/or Green Power).

Lodgement: Submissions should be lodged in the Electronic Tender Box via www.tenderlink.com/lgp by the time and date nominated. Late, emailed or facsimiled submissions will not be accepted.

Canvassing of any LGP directors or employees, or Council members or officers, involved in the EOI process, will disqualify Respondents from the EOI process.
