⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the following contracts:

Reconstruction of Elm Street, Maple Street and Orange Grove, Bayswater

The provision of a quality assured contract for the reconstruction of Elm Street, Maple Street and Orange Grove, Bayswater, involving the following quantities: removal of concrete (1912sqm), removal of kerb and channel (3173m), removal of asphalt pavement (959sqm), 300mm diam RCP (289m), 225mm diam RCP (233m), concrete kerb and channel (2326m), vehicle crossings (784m), pram crossings (100m), concrete paving (267sqm), reinforced concrete paving (1419sqm), asphalt overlay (12,167sqm), and associated signage, linemarking, landscaping and pit modifications.

Tenderers for this project are to be prequalified with the Civil Contractors Federation or Council approved equivalent.

Tenderers should note this contract will be for a period of twenty four (24) weeks.

A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, Conference Room 2 at 12:00pm, Wednesday 18 November 2015.

Tenders must be submitted on forms supplied and be lodged in the Tender Box at the Civic Centre by 4.00pm Tuesday, 1 December 2015.

Tenders for all contracts must be lodged in the Tender Box on Level 1 at the Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South prior to the closing date in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number. Facsimile or late submissions will not be considered. Council is not bound to accept the lowest and/or any tender.
