City Oval Irrigation Renewal

⁠⁠⁠Moreland City Council is seeking suitably qualified contractor to construct and test of the irrigation system located at City Oval, Bell Street, Coburg

The works include the supply and installation of, but are not limited to:
* Supply and installation of 90 mm PE Pn 12.5 irrigation mainline inc trenching, sand bedding, backfilling and compaction
* Supply and installation of 50 mm PE Pn 12.5 QCV mainline inc trenching, sand bedding, backfilling and compaction
* Location and removal of pumpset downstream pipework and connection to new 90 mm PE irrigation mainline
* Location of 2 No existing potable water gate valves, removal of and re-installation within playing surface including 63PE potable water diversions.
* Supply and installation of Swallow model 1200 galvanised steel cabinet on concrete footing, 32 mm HD orange electrical conduit and cable, 240 V 10 amp GPO
* Sod cutting of ALL trench lines and disposal of sod and soil from site
* Supply and installation of 80,50 & 40 mm uPVC Pn 12.0 lateral pipework
* Supply and installation of Rainbird 6504 series SS sprinkler on articulated riser
* Supply and installation of 50, 40, 25 mm solenoid valves within valve box on timber bearers, crushed rock base, geofabric lining and ID tag
* Supply and installation of 25 mm Rainbird QCV's within valve box
* Repair of AG lateral and main drains if damaged during construction
* Testing and commissioning in presence of superintendent
* Site Clean & removal of all spoil from site to legal dumping facility
* Intensive maintenance of completed system and 52 weeks defects liability period.
 
A Compulsory site inspection will be held between 3PM (Melbourne, Time), 10 November 2015 in City Oval, Russel Street Car Park Entry point, Coburg.
