Questacon is seeking options for:
1) The delivery of change for the Questacon ticket sales counter and shop
2) Banking of cash received in note and coin form; and
3) Banking of cheques and money orders.
Questacon’s preference is for the banking to be done at least three (3) times in a normal 5 day week or twice in a shorter working week. It is rare for Questacon’s banking to exceed $50,000 under this regime.
While Questacon will accept and evaluate tenders for traditional armoured car services we are also seeking proposals for innovative solutions such as in house banking machines. The innovative solution does not necessarily have to be cheaper than the armoured car service but can provide value for money in other ways such as reduced staff effort in handling cash and banking services.
Any options proposed must fully detail how each of the services will be delivered and at what cost.
