Cleaning of Stormwater Drainage Pipes, Gullies, Manholes and Soakwells

⁠⁠⁠The works shall consist of the clearing of blockages and the periodic cleaning of stormwater drainage pipes, gullies, manholes, soakwells and related structures throughout the City. This service will include the supply of all materials, plant and labour, sweeping, clean up, and disposal (including tipping fees) of unsuitable material.

The majority of the cleaning and clearing of blockages will occur in a planned manner, however the occasions may arise for unplanned work or emergency call outs, either during normal working hours or after hours.

Following cleaning, gully grates and manhole covers shall be replaced or reinstated in a manner such that the covers are free of damage, fractures and are seated as to not cause unsafe conditions.

It is envisaged that heavy-duty educting equipment will be necessary to achieve the standard of cleaning and rubbish removal expected under this contract.

The Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years with the option of a one year period at the City's discretion.

The Tender must be lodged by the Deadline. The Deadline for this Request is 2.00pm (AWST) 17 November, 2015.

Mailed, electronic mailed Tenders, hand delivered and Tenders submitted by facsimile or telephone will not be accepted. Tenderers must ensure that all electronic submission files are clearly named with the:
Principal's Tender Number (i.e. RFT 19/2015) and Tenderer's Name.
