Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably experienced Tenderers with adequate capability and capacity to undertake Stage One of the design and subsequent construction of the re-development of Weddin Aquatic Centre.
Grenfell Pool was constructed in 1930. Since this time it has been a community focal point. Over the past few years Weddin Shire Council has worked with the local community and stakeholders to consider the long-term re-development of Weddin Aquatic Centre.
Council has engaged Facility Design Group as a consultant to assist in providing a strategic direction and who have prepared Masterplan drawings for the proposed re-development indicating the layouts, sizes and inclusions. A pool works and filtration specification has also been provided
STAGE ONE - PROJECT INFORMATION
This contract is for Stage One only of the design and construction of the Weddin Aquatic Centre Re-development including (but not limited to):
Redevelopment of the existing pool into a new 50m long six lane swimming pool with an access ramp and concrete drained concourse.
Replace the plant room and filtration system, making provision in the design for the later installation of a separate filtration system for a 'Splash Pad' and play area with interactive play equipment and Program Pool to be constructed in a later Stage Three of the re-development.
