Tender Description
It is proposed that the Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment Contractors will supply and install acoustic / noise treatments to residential buildings on behalf of Roads and Maritime. It is estimated that treatment of 100 to 400 residences are conducted annually. Appointment as pre-selected to provide services will not guarantee any amount of work.
The Noise Abatement Program (NAP) is implemented by Roads and Maritime to mitigate noise impacts associated with existing State and Federal roads that are not subject to any upgrade proposals and where road traffic noise levels are high.
Due to the limited funds available under this program, road traffic noise locations are assessed using a number of criteria. Priorities are then determined for the allocation of funds and the implementation of noise abatement measures.
The types of treatments available to Roads and Maritime include noise barriers, noise mounds and architectural acoustic treatment of noise sensitive receiver buildings.
There is a NAP Panel Contract for Project Managers. The Project Managers contractors on the panel manage the architectural treatment for the RMS.
Architectural acoustic / noise treatments are done in the different regions around the NSW state. Please nominate and include any additional fees for which regions you are able to work.
