Supply of Communication Products

⁠⁠⁠V/Line has an extensive communications network to support and run its services. The infrastructure is a mixture of ageing equipment with newly integrated equipment. This includes:

* radio communications;
* telephony (hard line and wireless);
* copper networks;
* fibre networks;
* CCTV and
* voice logging.

The Successful Tenderer will be required to supply all communication products in accordance with the specifications of this Statement of Requirements (SOR). The SOR includes but are not limited to:

* supply communications equipment compliant to Australian Standards;
* supply lead times to common V/Line approved equipment;
* provide advice to V/Line with regards to suitable equipment;
* supply of product documentation - datasheets, product specifications, instructions manuals, maintenance manuals, operational manuals, user manuals and other any relevant documentation;
* supply compliance certificate with the purchased materials;
* supply warranty;
* support, expand and improve communications infrastructure by supplying communication products for installation on the V/Line network;
* ensure the communication products are supplied and transported regularly, and in a timely manner so as to eliminate any lead times or delays for V/Line’s major asset management and maintenance repairs; and
* maintain a Quality System throughout the supply of the products ; and
* all other associated product requirements.

V/Line’s specific requirements in relation to the SOR are set out in Part B of the tender documentation.

The Successful Tenderer will be requested to enter into a contract agreement with V/Line and report on progress issues as requested by V/Line.
