Tender Description
The provision of a quality assured contract for the reconstruction of Illawarra Avenue, Rowville, involving the following quantities: Removal of concrete (271sq.m), Removal of kerb and channel (820m), Removal of asphalt pavement (246sq.m), Concrete kerb and channel (680m), Vehicle crossing (134m), Pram crossings (6m), Concrete paving (126sq.m), reinforced concrete paving (141sq.m) asphalt overlay (2.675sq.m) and associate landscaping and pit modifications. Tenders for this project are to be prequalified with the civil contractors Federation or council approved equivalent.
Tenders should note this contract will be for a period of sixteen (16) weeks. A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox city council civic centre, 511 Burwood highway, Wantirna south, conference room 1 at 4.00pm. Thursday, 8 October 2015. Tender form and specification may be obtained for a non-refundable cost of $75.00 at our Customer service centre, 511 Burwood highway, wantirna south. Tenders must be submitted on forms supplied and be lodged in the tender box at the civic centre by 4.00pm Tuesday, 20 october 2015.
Tenders for all contracts must be lodged in the tender box on level 1 at the civic centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna south prior to the closing date in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number, facsimile or late submissions will not be considered. Council is not bound accept the lowest and/or any tender.
