Request for Quote - Automated Immunohistochemistry & In Situ Hybridisation System

⁠⁠⁠The University's Faculty of Health Sciences has been allocated funding to obtain this new equipment essential to the researchers within the Faculty and wider University Research Community. An application to purchase an Automated Immunohistochemistry and In Situ Hybridisation System has been approved as a result of this funding allocation.

Under the University's Strategic Procurement Procedures ('the Procedures') the University is required when purchasing goods/services with a total value below $200,000 (over a contract term or three year period whichever is shorter) and where there is no University preferred supplier for that good/service to purchase those goods/services using the 'three quote process' summarised below.

The Procedures require the University to select at least three potential suppliers for the relevant goods/services, issue them with a request for quote and specification, and obtain at least three documented quotes for the supply of those goods/services to be evaluated in accordance with the Procedure.

By way of this RFQ the University is inviting potential suppliers to submit quotations for the provision of the goods/services described in this RFQ in accordance with the process described above.

This RFQ will close at 4.00pm ACST on Friday 9th October 2015 and submissions must be fully received by this time. The University is not bound to accept the lowest priced quote or all or any part of a quote and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Quote process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
