Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and licensed Commercial Building Construction Contractors to undertake the redevelopment by constructing a new Operations Centre & Animal Facility as Part of Stage 1 on Lots 50-52 Wellard Street, Bibra Lake, WA.
The Works include the construction of a two (2) storey administration building and single storey animal facility along with parking bays, lighting, and associated site works
The Principal has appointed Holton Connor Architects for Architectural Services and is currently in the process of appointing an in house Project Manager / Superintendent for this Project.
It is envisaged that construction should commence in February 2016 and the build period is expected to be 55 weeks.
HOLD POINT
The proposed Contract shall only proceed on the provision that Council approve the appointment of the successful tenderer; thus the Principal reserves the right to proceed (or not) under the proposed Contract.
Note:
1. Mandatory Site Meeting: refer to Clause 1.6 of the Conditions of Tendering.
2. Security Bank Guarantees: the successful Contractor shall be required to provide Bank Guarantees refer to Clause 7.70 of the Special Conditions of Contracts for details.
