Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Glenelg Hopkins CMA is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to develop a spatially-based decision framework to guide decisions regarding fish barrier removal/mitigation. This framework will recognise regional and state-level priorities and be hierarchical so full assessments will only be undertaken on selected barriers.

This project requires a high level of GIS and spatial analysis expertise as well as expertise in the areas of fish biology/ecology.  The successful consultant will have a strong understanding of the impacts of instream barriers on fish populations and the methods available to mitigate these impacts.
