Funding is available from the Coal Innovation NSW Fund for projects that provide research, development and demonstration of low emissions coal technologies or increase public awareness and acceptance of the importance of clean coal technologies.

* Timelines.
The CINSW Fund is based on a competitive grants model with applicants competing for the funds available. The assessment of applications will be judged against stated eligibility requirements and selection criteria.
Principally the grants program is seeking research proposals (for up to 2 years duration). Projects must be designed for coal or for coal fired power stations within NSW, be directly related to aspects relevant to the reduction of greenhouse emissions, increased combustion efficiency and results in increased technical capability for NSW.
