THE UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN SYDNEY (UWS) has substantially progressed plans for the re-development of its 4ha Westmead Campus (Site) with Stage 1 subdivision works already underway to create five serviced development Lots.
The Site is located next to the Westmead Health Precinct including: Westmead Hospital, and Westmead Children's Hospital. The Site is only 200m to Westmead train station.
UWS is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced Proponents as follows:
For Sale:
Purchase either or both:
* Lot 4 a 3,010sqm (approx.) Lot proposed for residential uses, approx. yield 205 apartments
* Lot 5 a 9,389sqm (approx.) Lot proposed for residential uses, approx. yield 510 apartment
For Co-Development:
Co-develop a new landmark building upon:
* Lot 2 a 5,754 sqm (approx.) mixed-use Lot with up to 30,700sqm GFA
Alternative Proposals:
UWS will also welcome Alternative Proposals that:
* can take advantage of a more holistic development approach for the entire Site or
* propose an innovative approach to the development of one or more of Lots 1, 2, 3a, 3b, 4 and/or 5 in a way that delivers on UWS's objectives and maximises value for UWS.
The EOI closes on Thursday, 24 September 2015.
