Tender Description
The NLIS involves the use of ear tags to permanently identify sheep and goats. Currently sheep and goats, regardless of their age, must be identified with a NLIS ear tag prior to dispatch from a property to a saleyard, abattoir, live export depot, public auction venue, agricultural show or to another property.
Either visually readable or electronic tags can be used. This RFT relates to the supply of electronic ear tags. To be considered as part of the tender, tags must be eligible to carry the NLIS logo issued by NLIS Limited on the date tenders close.
