Tender Description
The Nominal Insurer is seeking responses to this Invitation to Register (ITR) from product vendor organisations who wish to be considered as possible service providers for the provision, implementation and support of a core insurance platform to support workers’ compensation, injury management, accidents compensation through policy, underwriting, claims, billing and case management.
The proposed insurance platform is a key enabler to a number of benefits: enhanced customer experience, improved operational efficiencies, reduced claims leakage, improved decision making and increased competitiveness.
The Nominal Insurer's strong preference is to select a product vendor who will provide (either itself or through subcontracting arrangements) the insurance platform and all services (including systems implementation services) to build, implement, support and manage the solution.
The Nominal Insurer’s preference is for a single integrated insurance platform that will be provisioned as a software as a service from off-premise infrastructure which must be wholly located within Australia, including data storage and backups.
Further detail regarding the technical requirements for the core insurance platform will be set out in the RFP.
