Tender Description
The Freight Noise Attenuation Program is an initiative of TfNSW Freight and Regional Development’s Freight and Port Strategy to mitigate rail noise at affected locations on the rail network by providing housing treatments to eligible areas.
The Freight Noise Attenuation Program is seeking to contract suppliers to be preselected for panel of ‘FNAP Building Service Providers” to deliver Architectural acoustic treatments to eligible residences in accordance with specific scope and work plan targets.
The suppliers of the Building Service Provider panel will need to be skilled in domestic architectural treatments involving carpentry, electrical/mechanical installations, window and door fixing, and general handiwork.
The Building Services Provider is expected to deliver the following outcomes:
* Provide Quotes for the delivery of Architectural Acoustic treatments per dwelling for scope identified in a regular panel tender process for grouped areas on the rail network.
* Upon selection, engage with eligible property owners to confirm agreed workplan, complete final measurement review and order relevant materials.
* Agree and sign a minor works contract for each dwelling to deliver treatment to plan.
* Complete all agreed work to agreed quality, scope and time and obtain sign off for works complete
* Ensure any warranty and defect conditions are managed and supported.
* Reporting on the progress of all treatments being completed in a grouped FNAP work area (Catchment)
The six highest ranked tenders will be offered places on the FNAP Panel of Building Contractors. Additional tenderers may be offered a place on the panel should they provide exceptionally strong proposals and it is deemed beneficial to the program.
