Hume City Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) to design and lead the community engagement process for the Sunbury Skate Park redevelopment.
The design will ensure that opportunities are provided for people with a range of interests and abilities. The aim is to provide users with a range of differing challenges, experiences for various skill levels.
The design team will ensure the redeveloped skatepark integrates with the surrounding parkland and recreation facilities through well considered landscape design and appropriate complimentary infrastructure such as scootering and BMX.
The proposed skatepark must set benchmarks in safety and design standards for skateboarders, scooter and BMX riders.
Community engagement will actively involve facility users and relevant stakeholders in the planning, development and ongoing use of the skate, scooter and BMX facility and programs.
