Provision of Horticultural and Gardening Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is calling tenders for the provision of Horticultural and Gardening Services along with the mowing of high profile sites on a schedule of rates basis in order to maintain a wide variety of horticultural assets. Hume City Council’s Parks Department will supervise the contract.

The Contractor must provide horticultural and gardening services and mowing services in accordance with relevant works programs, or as required by Council. Details of the areas in which the Contractor will provide the Services will be provided to the successful tenderer on acceptance of the Tender. The contractor will also be requested to provide horticultural refurbishment services as required.

The contractor will provide horticultural and gardening services on a range of horticultural types ranging from formal landscapes, indigenous, native and exotic landscapes, Water Sensitive Urban Design elements such as Rain Gardens, Wetlands and Retarding Basins.

The contractor will provide mowing services on a range of asset types ranging from facility surrounds e.g. Leisure and District Centre’s, high and medium profile Parks and Reserves.

The Contractor must provide all labour, plant, supervision, equipment, fuel and all other items necessary for the performance of the Services, including, without limitation
