BreastScreen Queensland (BSQ) is a free statewide population-based breast cancer screening program delivered by a network of assessment services for the early detection of breast cancer in Queensland. BSQ’s target market (50 to 74 years old) is an increasing population of on-line users who are looking for opportunities to multi-task and have a means to make the booking process more accessible and convenient.

The primary objectives of this initiative are to implement a secure web portal connecting to Queensland Health’s BSQR3 (Oracle database) for online operational security purposes, provide efficient online appointment content management, provide traceability of all changes made within the BSQ portal, provide an easy to use solution, and enable access on various mobile devices.
