B69 Narellan Road Upgrade – Stage B
The work under the contract involves the upgrade of Narellan Road – Stage B. It involves of Narellan Road from Blaxland Road, Campbelltown and Camden Valley Way, Narellan (a length of approximately 5.4 kilometres) and upgrade of the Hume Motorway southbound on-ramp. Also the work involves the construction of road bridges widening and construction of shared path bridges. A section of Narellan Road between the Hume Motorway and Blaxland Road is currently being upgraded by the Principal. This section is excluded from this Contract
This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified at Roadworks Class R4, Bridgeworks Class B4 and Financial Level F50 or higher.
This is a joint Federal and State funded project.
The Building Code 2013 applies to this project. This document is available at www.employment.gov.au/BuildingCode.
It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au
The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting a tender response and to any successful applications being awarded.
