Tender Description
The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders closing 2.00 pm, Wednesday 1st July 2015, from experienced electrical contractors for the provision of Electrical Services to Council. The scope of services will largely include maintenance and emergency repair works to Council buildings, structures and other assets either internally or externally, as designated from time to time in accordance with the directions of the Council Representative.
Council reserves the right to appoint several electrical contractors to undertake the services required and warrants no volume of work to any of the selected contractors.
It is a mandatory requirement that tenderers have at least two (2) licensed electricians as full time employees in order to provide a 24 hour, 7 day a week service as required to be further considered for this tender. Please provide details of staffing and Licence details in Schedule 3 - Section 1.4 staffing proposed and qualifications.
For clarity Council will not accept one licensed electrician from one company and the second licensed electrician from another company being used on a sub consultant basis. Both electricians are to be licensed and employed as fulltime employees by the same company to be further considered for this service.
Electrical Contractors must have documented OH&S systems which meet with Council requirements to be considered for this service. Failure to provide the required documentation will preclude the tenderer from further evaluation.
