Tender Description
The North East Waste and Resource Recovery Group (NEWRRG) is the authorised Agent responsible for the coordination of the tender process that will enable the removal of metal from Resource Recovery Centre's across the North East Region of Victoria.
The Tender calls for the provision of the collection, transport and recycling of metal to be undertaken within the municipalities occupied by the Partners of NEWRRG in accordance with this specification, but under individual agreement with participating Councils:
* Alpine Shire;
* Benalla Rural City;
* Indigo Shire;
* Towong Shire;
* Rural City of Wangaratta; and the
* City of Wodonga
This request for tender, covers a two year period beyond the expiry of the existing contracts (plus two 12 month possible extensions), applies to the collection, transport, recycling and reporting of steel and scrap metal products to be removed from facilities nominated by those Councils.
Separate Contracts will be entered into with the successful tenderer and each NEWRRG Council Partner, in accordance with the Tender and this specification.
