Tender Description
The Glenelg Shire Council invites Tenders from Contractors for asphalt works at various locations throughout the municipality on a schedule of rates basis.
The projects and or extent of works are not guaranteed and will be scheduled to meet the requirements of Council.
It is the intention of the Glenelg Shire to appoint one or more contractors under this Contract to ensure that concrete work across the entire Shire (in Service Areas) can be undertaken to meet required timelines.
The Contract will be a schedule of rates contract not subject to rise and fall in prices (with the asphalt quantity not being guaranteed).
The Contract will be let for the initial period from the date of acceptance to 30th June 2016 with options for a further four one year extensions subject to satisfactory performance and negotiated rates at the discretion of Council.
A pre-tender meeting is not required for this contract.
