Warringah Council Expression of Interest EOI 2015 038 For Lease for Affordable Rental Housing Site at 725 Pittwater Road Dee Why.
Council is seeking expressions of interest from appropriately experienced organisations for the leasing of approximately 2,300 sqm of land at 725 Pittwater Road Dee Why for the development of Affordable Rental Housing accommodation.
The lease and development proposal is required to comply with the provisions of:
· State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) (Affordable Rental Housing) 2009;
· Warringah Local Environmental Plan (WLEP) 2011;
· Building Code of Australia;
For the purpose of this project, affordable housing is defined as: "housing that is appropriate for the needs of a range of very low to moderate income households and priced so that these households are also able to meet other basic living costs such as food, clothing, transport, medical care and education. (NSW - Family & Community Services)"
Tenders close at 2pm (AEST) on Tuesday 30 June 2015 and must be fully received by this time.
