The City of Sydney is seeking quotations from suitably qualified individuals for the role of Chinese New Year Festival Curator.
The Curator will be responsible for developing and implementing a creative identity and overlay for the City of Sydney’s 2016 Chinese New Year Festival with an option to extend to the 2017 and 2018 Festivals. The Curator will work closely with the City’s Events Unit and in consultation with the Chinese New Year Advisory Panel.
The role of the Curator will encompass the following:
* Work with the City’s Events Unit to provide the creative overlay for events that are produced by the City to celebrate the Lunar New Year
* Collaborate with cultural institutions, arts organisations and other to curate a program of associated events for the festival
* Create opportunities within the festival for community participation
* Work with the City’s corporate partnerships team to attract/maintain and integrate corporate partnerships to support the festival and its development
